The Captains is a pub in the traditional style with warm carpets, low ceilings with original oak beams and walls adorned with brass and copper memorabilia. It offers comfortable rooms at great prices and is a world away from the UK chains and so-called ‘gastro pubs’.
The Tavern and Bistro at The Captain’s have an enviable reputation for good food that has been built over many years. As well as traditional bar meals, the menu features many of Ali & Del’s personal favourites including Seafood Au Gratin, Lobster Thermidor and fresh local Sea Bass as well as best sellers such as Steak and Stilton.
